An end of the working day that really is one
With us, Friday afternoon is the end of the week, and the duty rosters are set four weeks in advance. Four people means short lines of communication: if you have an idea, you raise it in the morning meeting and not in a form. We pay for continuing education and give you the time off for it.
Dental assistant (Federal VET Diploma), 60–100 %
You assist at the chair, prepare instruments and take on part of the reception work. We expect a Federal VET Diploma or equivalent experience as well as a pleasure in direct contact with patients. We offer a fixed free Friday afternoon, five weeks of holiday and a well-established team.
Apprenticeship in dental assistance (Federal VET Diploma), starting in August
With us you will learn chairside assistance, hygiene and administration from the ground up. Requirements are completed compulsory schooling, reliability and a friendly manner with people of all ages. Nadine Koller will support you as your vocational trainer throughout the three apprenticeship years.
Dental hygienist HF, 40 %
You carry out prophylaxis sessions and periodontitis aftercare independently, with your own room and your own calendar. An HF qualification and professional experience are required. The days can largely be arranged freely within the practice hours.
About us
A small practice with a history
The Feldweid practice has existed since 2011, when Lorenz Ammann took over the rooms on the first floor at Kasernenstrasse. Two treatment chairs had become three by 2019, and one person had become four. Sandra Brunner joined in 2015, Rahel Signer in 2018, and Nadine Koller has run reception since 2013.
The practice has grown not through advertising, but because people in Herisau passed on the word that here you are told in advance what is going to happen. That attitude also shapes how we work together as a team: we address things rather than let them lie. Anyone who joins us is not working in a chain, but in a practice where all four names could be on the door.
