Chewing just like before
Whether a small filling or a bridge spanning three teeth: in the end the bite has to be right and nothing should press. We check every piece of work after fitting with articulating paper and invite you back for a follow-up after larger reconstructions. The following four areas make up the bulk of our work.
Periodontitis treatment
Bleeding gums and loose teeth are treated over several sessions with deep cleaning of the root surfaces. Sandra Brunner records a complete pocket chart beforehand. This is followed by a close check-up rhythm so that the result remains stable.
Dentures on implants
If a tooth is missing, we first check the available bone and the neighbouring teeth. Lorenz Ammann places the implant; the crown follows after a healing period of around three months. In the meantime you wear a temporary that lets you eat normally.
Dentures and repairs
We adjust full and partial dentures, reline them and repair fractures. The laboratory often completes small repairs within a day. If you have pressure sores, come by at short notice — that does not require a long appointment.
Bite splint
If you clench at night, you notice it in tense chewing muscles and flattened teeth. We take an impression and have a hard Michigan splint made, which we adjust at the chair. It is checked after two weeks and annually thereafter.
